a nerve to conquer or unite,
to venture out to ocean or equator,

I can vaunt a cute novice, a creative veteran,
or orate on a tenure. It ran on...

I can even enquire into an entire era,
into vice or covert erotica,
or acquire an antique at an auction.
I can renovate a quaint Victorian tavern,
